What I'm using?
I’m inspired to make this “what I’m using” page like the one from Jon Christopher’s site. So here is mine 😃
This site
- Powered by Hugo.
- Hosted by GitLab Pages.
- Using Minimo theme by Munif Tanjim and I modified it by myself.
- Discussion powered by Disqus.
Development environment
- I use Sublime Text for small scripting (such as authoring this site).
- I use PyCharm and IntelliJ IDEA to develop Python and Java projects, respectively.
- My favorite color scheme is Monokai Pro, coupled with the beautiful Liberation Mono font family.

Hardwares
My main rig is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 2400G (4 cores, 8 threads, 11 Vega cores) and 4 gigabytes of RAM. I work with a dual monitor set as visualized in below drawing.
My main monitor is the green (right) one. The yellow and orange area are my panel/task bar. The yellow panel bar contains the workspace (virtual desktop) switcher and icons of all applications currently running in all workspaces. The orange panel bar lists currently running applications in active workspace. I found this set is very convenient for my daily use.
Softwares
- Xubuntu is my operating system.
- LibreOffice is my office suite.
- I use yEd to draw diagrams.
- I love the combination of GIMP and Inkscape for general graphic needs.
- I use ImageMagick to do some advanced image processings.
- I’ve been using the powerful Calc as my calculator since a long time ago.
